Angelic visitors...erm, possibly?

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m quite good at convincing myself that there are logical explanations for any strange things that happen to me.
But there’s one very simple incident I’ve never been able to explain away, or at least fully convince myself wasn’t in some way ‘other worldly’.
I’d been watching something on TV about angels and spirit guides. The woman talking was likening guardian angels to spirits that some people communicate with and call on to guide them in meditations and help them generally with guidance and even protection.
She said at the end of her piece that it was easy to communicate with your angel (or spirit) and that they would somehow let you know that they were there.
Anyway, I watched the show thinking, ‘yes this is very sweet, what a comforting idea etc’ but not taking it seriously.
Later in the day I was in my room and only half seriously I decided to give it a go, so I spoke out loud and said I’d like to know that they were there and if they could hear me and then I immediately felt stupid and decided to stop talking to myself!
When I turned around though there was a feather on the carpet that I swear had not been there before I’d started talking. It was quite big and in a place where there's just no way i would have missed it when i came in the room.
I was a little baffled and I ran through all the explanations in my head, it’s just a really appropriate coincidence was the best one I came up with. But when I thought about it I kind of just knew that my explanations weren’t true; that sounds a little ridiculous but you know that feeling when you just know something?
Anyway, I never could completely dismiss that in my mind and it probably is the strangest thing that’s happened to me. What do you guys think about it? I know at least a couple of you communicate with spirit guides, do you think this is the same thing or like it in any way?
Do you think I should get my meditation books back out and try to talk to it? Do you think it would have stuck around all these years?
Do you think I should be worried that there could potentially be a spirit close enough right now to leave feathers 5 inches away from where I’m sitting?! *looks worried*

This would be your intuition/instincts/sixth sense, whatever you wish to call it.
Always trust your gut instincts hun.
I believe that this was a sign from your guide/s that they are watching over you and were just replying the best way they could to your personal query.
You know what i'm going to say and that is yes i think meditation would be beneficial for you to do even if its only a couple of times a week.
It can be deeply relaxing and helps you to de-stress. Getting in touch with your guides can only be a good thing in my opinion,...but then maybe i'm biased.

Your guides will not harm you hunny.
They are there to guide you even though you may not realise they are there half the time.
*huggles* You always come up with great questions.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS trust your gut instinct, i have found the few times i have totally gone against it, i regretted it.

Nope i think you should pick it up, sit, relax, hold it and ask for the person who dropped it to come closer and talk to you......but then like Pythia....i could be just a little bit biased....or nosey..take ya pick
