Shortcrust Pastry

6oz plain flour

1/4 tsp salt

4oz butter

cold water to mix
Allow between 1/1 1/2 tsp per 1oz flour

1) Mix flour and salt in basin, rub in butter using metal spoon.

2) Using the metal spoon, mix in cold water to form a stiff dough

3) Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead lightly.

4) Roll out and use as required
